Thinking Process

PHASE 1: VISUAL DECONSTRUCTION - **Fabric Physics:** The source garment is a cotton jersey knit. It possesses a low-gloss, matte finish with high light absorption. The physics simulation must treat this as a medium-weight material—pliable enough to show soft folds but structured enough to hold the cylindrical shape of the sleeve without collapsing entirely. It should not reflect light like synthetic sportswear or silk. - **Key Features:** The central "NAUTICA" text logo and the three distinct rectangular sailboat graphics below it are non-negotiable anchors. The crew neckline ribbing and the double-stitched hem on the sleeves and waist must be preserved to maintain realism. PHASE 2: FIT & DRAPE SIMULATION - **Body Mapping:** The user is standing in a semi-profile pose with the torso angled toward the right of the frame. The graphic print must be warped perspectively to wrap around the curvature of the pectoral muscles and ribcage; it cannot lie flat. Due to the user leaning their left arm on the railing, the fabric must exhibit compression folds near the left armpit and tension lines stretching across the upper left chest. The right sleeve should hang vertically due to gravity, while the left sleeve will sit higher and more bunched due to the raised shoulder. - **Occlusion Handling:** There are no major anterior occlusions (hair or hands) covering the torso area. However, the simulation must ensure the user's bare arms (biceps/triceps) emerge naturally from the new sleeves without clipping. The railing is behind the user, so the garment must not merge with the metal bars. PHASE 3: ENVIRONMENT & LIGHTING - **Light Match:** The user image features strong backlighting (sunset/golden hour) resulting in the subject being in silhouette/shadow. The source garment (currently in flat studio light) must be drastically darkened to match the exposure of the user's current brown shirt. A "rim light" (halo effect) must be generated along the shoulders and the outer edges of the sleeves to match the sun's position behind the subject. The front of the shirt should be lit by soft, diffuse ambient skylight, not direct directional light. - **Color Calibration:** The source blue is cool-toned. It must be color-graded to accept the warm, golden hues of the environment. The rim lighting should be warm (orange/gold), while the shadowed front of the shirt should have a desaturated, slightly warmer tint than the original studio image to integrate with the outdoor atmosphere. PHASE 4: IDENTITY PROTECTION - **Facial Lock:** The user's face, specifically the jawline, beard, hairstyle, and sunglasses, must be completely frozen and unaltered. The angle of the head and the skin tone of the neck must remain exact. - **Body Integrity:** The user's shoulder width and waistline must be preserved. Do not morph the user's physique to match the slimmer, straighter build of the model in the source image. The jeans and sneakers must remain untouched.
