Thinking Process
PHASE 1: VISUAL DECONSTRUCTION
- **Fabric Physics:** The source garment is a cotton jersey knit (tank top). It possesses a low-stiffness, high-drape quality with a matte finish. It should behave as a lightweight material, showing soft, organic folds rather than rigid creases. It exhibits diffuse light reflection (Lambertian) with no specular highlights.
- **Key Features:** The distressed navy blue typography ("THE MISRAGLEN MAFU NALIEE") and the central circular mountain graphic are critical. The ribbed crew neckline and the raw/hemmed sleeveless armholes must be preserved. The source image has a silver chain overlaid; this must be segmented out (removed) so only the textile transfers.
PHASE 2: FIT & DRAPE SIMULATION
- **Body Mapping:**
- **Arm Generation (Critical):** The user is currently wearing a thick long-sleeved sweater. Transitioning to a sleeveless tank top requires generative inpainting to reconstruct the skin and musculature of the user's arms and shoulders, which are currently hidden.
- **Gravity & Tension:** Due to the user's raised right arm (holding the cap), the garment must pull upward on the right side. The right armhole should gape slightly, potentially exposing the latissimus dorsi area. The fabric should drape vertically on the left side but gather/bunch slightly toward the right shoulder anchor point.
- **Occlusion Handling:**
- **Chin/Neck:** The user is looking down with the chin tucked; the new neckline must sit naturally under the chin without clipping into the jaw.
- **Right Hand/Cap:** The right hand and cap are elevated; while not directly overlapping the chest, the masking must ensure the new shoulder strap does not overwrite the wrist or forearm intersection.
PHASE 3: ENVIRONMENT & LIGHTING
- **Light Match:** The target environment is high-intensity outdoor daylight (sunny, high altitude). The lighting is directional (casting shadows on the deck) with strong blue ambient fill from the lake and sky. The new garment must cast self-shadows consistent with this overhead sun position.
- **Color Calibration:** The source garment is studio-lit white. In the target image, the white fabric must be tone-mapped to accept a cool blue tint in the shadows (ambient skylight/water reflection) and a warmer highlight to match the sun, preventing the shirt from looking like a flat, "sticker-like" bright white.
PHASE 4: IDENTITY PROTECTION
- **Facial Lock:** The user's face, beard, ear, and current head angle must be strictly frozen. The hand holding the cap must remain pixel-perfect.
- **Body Integrity:** Do not alter the user's shoulder width or torso scale. While the volume of the heavy sweater must be removed to show the thinner tank top, the underlying skeletal frame must remain robust—avoid slimming the user to a generic mannequin shape during the arm inpainting process.
