Thinking Process
PHASE 1: VISUAL DECONSTRUCTION
- **Fabric Physics:** The source garment is a structured cotton or linen blend (likely Indigo print). It possesses a matte finish with low specular reflection. Unlike the user's current soft knit top, this fabric has medium stiffness; it holds creases and resists clinging tightly to the skin, draping vertically with weight rather than stretching.
- **Key Features:** The distinctive V-neck wrap-style bodice and the geometric "shibori/tie-dye" vertical dash patterns are critical. The sleeve length is mid-bicep (short), unlike the target's long sleeves. The side slits and the straight hemline of the kurta must be preserved in the pattern generation.
PHASE 2: FIT & DRAPE SIMULATION
- **Body Mapping:**
- **Seated Deformation:** Since the user is seated, the long kurta cannot hang straight. The lower portion of the garment must pool onto the stone ledge behind the buttocks and drape over the thighs, folding horizontally at the hip/lap crease.
- **Sleeve Modification:** The source garment has short sleeves, while the target user has long sleeves. The system must generate/in-paint realistic skin textures for the user's forearms where the current pink sleeves cover them.
- **Shoulder alignment:** The fabric must follow the slight hunch of the user's relaxed seated posture.
- **Occlusion Handling:**
- **Hair:** The user’s long dark hair covers the upper back and right shoulder. This is a hard occlusion layer; the blue kurta must be rendered *behind* the hair strands.
- **Accessories:** The multicolored bag resting on the lap is a critical foreground object. The kurta must appear to go *under* the bag or be pressed down by it, not render over it.
PHASE 3: ENVIRONMENT & LIGHTING
- **Light Match:** The user is in a natural outdoor setting with soft, diffused daylight coming from the upper right (evident by the sheen on the hair). The blue kurta needs to adopt a cooler, daylight-balanced tone rather than the warmer, dappled light of the source image. Shadows should be soft ambient occlusion shadows, particularly in the lap fold and under the hair.
- **Color Calibration:** The Indigo blue of the source is vibrant. It requires slight desaturation and exposure adjustment to match the dynamic range of the user's photo (which is slightly hazy/low contrast due to the outdoor atmosphere).
PHASE 4: IDENTITY PROTECTION
- **Facial Lock:** The user's side profile, ear, and cheek (what little is visible) must remain pixel-perfectly frozen. The hair structure and volume must remain untouched.
- **Body Integrity:** The curvature of the user's back and the volume of the legs in the seated position must be preserved. Do not slim the waist or alter the thigh width to fit the straight cut of the kurta; the cloth must adapt to the body, not the inverse.
