Thinking Process
PHASE 1: VISUAL DECONSTRUCTION
- **Fabric Physics:** The source garment is a ribbed knit fabric (likely a cotton-spandex blend). It has a matte finish with high elasticity. The simulation must render the vertical ribbing texture with high fidelity; these ribs should stretch slightly across the chest and contract at the waist. Light should catch the "peaks" of the ribs and cast micro-shadows in the "valleys" to establish depth.
- **Key Features:**
- **Lettuce Hems:** The wavy, ruffled "lettuce edge" stitching on the sleeve cuffs, neckline, and bottom hem is the defining style characteristic and MUST be preserved.
- **Neckline:** The boat-neck/wide crew cut needs to be maintained, sitting wider on the collarbones than the user's current V-neck garment.
- **Texture:** The vertical ribbing pattern must map correctly to the body's volume, warping slightly with the torso's rotation.
PHASE 2: FIT & DRAPE SIMULATION
- **Body Mapping:**
- The target user is in a 3/4 walking stride. The garment should conform tightly to the torso (body-con fit) but allow for slight fabric compression at the right side of the waist due to the hip sway.
- As the shirt is cropped, the bottom hem should align just above the navel, maintaining the exposure of the user's midriff.
- The right sleeve must wrap around the user's arm which is angled slightly backward; the left sleeve is partially obscured by rotation.
- **Occlusion Handling:**
- **Hair (CRITICAL):** The user has voluminous curly hair cascading over both shoulders and the upper back. A high-precision segmentation mask is required to layer the hair *over* the new purple top. The garment must not clip through or erase these curls.
- **Arms/Pose:** The user's right arm is close to the body; ambient occlusion shadows must be generated where the inner arm meets the side of the ribcage.
PHASE 3: ENVIRONMENT & LIGHTING
- **Light Match:** The User Image utilizes soft, diffuse high-key studio lighting (white background), likely from a large softbox front-left. The source garment currently has directional lighting from the right with a blue cast. The new garment must be "relit" to eliminate the deep shadows from the source and adopt the soft, even illumination of the target scene.
- **Color Calibration:** The source environment has a blue/cool tint. The purple pigment of the shirt needs to be color-corrected to neutralize the blue cast, ensuring the lavender tone appears vibrant and natural against the neutral white background of the target image.
PHASE 4: IDENTITY PROTECTION
- **Facial Lock:** Absolute freeze on the user's face, neck, and the complex geometry of the curly hair. The jawline and ear (with hoop earring) must remain untouched.
- **Body Integrity:** The user's visible skin tone (arms, chest, midriff) and body proportions must remain 100% unaltered. No warping of the waistline or slimming of the arms is permitted; the garment must deform to the body, not the body to the garment.
